We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Company Driver Location: Lugbe, Abuja (FCT) Employment Type: Full-time Responsibilities Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip and Opting fora shorter or alternate route in case of traffic congestion. Ensure the car seats are clean and comfortable for all staff members Schedule regular car service appointments and report any issues Transporting staff membersto the destination point Conducting timely vehicle maintenance checks and Scheduling vehicle service appointments Informing the company of any accidents or vehicle damage Ensuring the safety of staff membersduring work time Identifying any mechanical issues in the vehicle Maintaining a record of vehicle maintenance receipts Requirements A high school diploma or equivalent 2 - 10 years work experience. Proven experience as a Driver in driving manual and automatic gear A valid driver’s license and A clean driving record Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50) Familiarity with GPS devicesand Google Maps Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods Availability to occasionally take weekend shifts and Ability to work for long hours A polite and professional disposition Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour) Previous work experience as a Driveror a Delivery Driver in the Logistics industry Complete knowledge of road safety rules and regulations Good communication and interpersonal skills Excellent driving skills and road sense Well-groomed and highly motivated individual Good time management skills Ability to offer excellent customer service.
